HOW TO FIND US

The Chateau des Cresses is an ideal stopover for those travelling north/south, east/west or vice versa as well as being a holiday destination in its own right, being where the regions of Burgundy, Auvergne and Rhone Alps meet.

We are 5 km  from the principal north/south route N7 at Roanne. The N7 is a continuation of the recently built motorway A77 which starts just south of Paris. We are 80 km from Lyon and 420 km from Paris.

From direction Paris at Roanne join the  ring road, (part of the N7),  signposted St. Etienne/Lyon. Leave at exit 67 signposted Perreux. At Perreux just after the chemist shop on the left turn left onto the D31 signposted Coutouvre.

After one and a half km turn left on to the D17 signposted Vougy. After 2km you will find a private road on the right leading to the chateau. This is clearly marked with a large sign  Chateau des Cresses. Continue on this private road, passing a parking area on the right and you will arrive at the front door of the chateau.

From direction Lyon or St. Etienne you will join directly to the Roanne ring road, take exit 67 and follow directions as above.
