The Château des Cresses is set in 5 wooded acres near to the 14th century hill village of Perreux and 5km from the principal north/south route N7 at Roanne.

It is a perfect holiday destination between the Beaujolais hills and the Madeleine mountains of the Massif Central. The vineyards of Beaujolais, Burgundy and the Roannais being nearby. Our region is renowned for its culinary delights, eating at low cost restaurants or the world famous Troisgros, a Michelin three star restaurant in Roanne.

At the château we have a petanque area and a heated swimming pool. Nearby you will find lakes with water sports, horse riding and bicycle hire.

For those travelling to or returning from the south we are an ideal stopover using the low cost A77 motorway from south of Paris and the free A75 motorway onwards to the Mediterranean.
